FAQ
So many things! You can use tofu, seitan, tempeh, mushrooms, eggplants, zucchini and cauliflower. OR. You can buy vegan meat replacements at your local health store/ Trader Joe’s/online…etc.
The original BBQ sauce recipe is unfortunately NOT vegan since it contains non-vegan ingredients, such as honey and Worcestershire sauce (usually contains anchovies).
Because of this, be careful with storebought BBQ sauces and always check the ingredients list of whatever BBQ product you want to purchase. And if you want to DIY it, try this vegan BBQ sauce recipe.
