This Roasted Broccoli with Sweet Chili Sauce is the perfect healthy Asian side dish. It’s ready in almost 30 minutes. Serve it with tofu, rice or eat it on its own.

Ingredients

- Fresh broccoli: frozen broccoli won’t work with this recipe!
- Sweet chili sauce: your favorite brand. Make sure the texture is sticky.
- Soy sauce: you can use gluten-free or standard.
- Oil: any neutral, high-temperature oil will work.
- Ground Black pepper
How to Make
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 400 ℉ or 200 °C.
Step 2:
Cut 1 pound of broccoli up into smaller pieces (florets), then wash them.

Step 3:
Place the broccoli florets on a baking sheet evenly.

Step 4:
Mix the oil, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce and black pepper in a small bowl, then add to the broccoli.

Step 5:
Carefully coat the broccoli florets with the sauce (with your hands).

Step 6:
Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until crisp and/or dark brown.
Remove the broccoli from the oven and add more sweet chili sauce if needed.
Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions
Tofu and rice is my go to with this recipe, but you cooked quinoa is also a great choice.

Ingredients
- 1 pound broccoli (~500 g)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper (ground)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 ℉ or 220 °C.
- Cut 1 pound of broccoli up into smaller pieces (florets), then wash them.
