Vegan Protein Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Soft silken tofu
  • Soy yogurt
  • Baby spinach
  • Cucumber
  • Apple
  • Pear
  • Ground flaxseeds
  • Lemon juice
  • Maple syrup

How to Make

Step 1: 

Add all of the smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. If the consistency is too thick, blend in 1 tablespoon of water at a time until it’s thinned to your liking. 

Step 2:

Ingredients
 

  • 6 oz soft silken tofu (170 g)
  • 2 tbsp soy yogurt (plain)
  • 1 ½ cups baby spinach
  • ½ medium cucumber (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • 1 medium apple
  • 1 medium pear (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Add all of the smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. If the consistency is too thick, blend in 1 tablespoon of water at a time until it’s thinned to your liking.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy.

Notes

  • If you’d prefer a colder smoothie, blend in 3-4 ice cubes or refrigerate the smoothie for 20-30 minutes before serving.
