Tofu Steak will be your new favorite dinner recipe! It is a super easy, high-protein meal that’s bursting with flavor! Serve with your favorite side dishes for any occassion.

Ingredients
- firm tofu (smoked or plain)
- olive oil
- garlic
- soy sauce
- tomato paste
- maple syrup
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- dried rosemary
- ground black pepper and salt
How to Make
STEP 1:
In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for the tofu marinade and add to a shallow bowl or zip lock bag.
STEP 2:
Cut the block of tofu in half (horizontally), and place the slices in the marinade. Make sure the tofu is covered in the marinade, then place your bowl/zip lock bag in the fridge and let marinate for at least 2 hours (ideally more).
STEP 3:
Preheat your oven to 400°F / 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
STEP 4:
Place the marinated tofu slices on the baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.
STEP 5:
(Optional) Serve the tofu steak over mashed potatoes and steamed/roasted green beans or cooked quinoa and chopped salad.
